The Senior Elmers, John & Sheila are now living in quiet retirement on the seafront in Thorpe Bay Essex.
John was in banking and Sheila an infant teacher before they gave up their respective careers to run a small guest house-The Bay- in Southend-on-Sea.
Their main interest in retirement is sailing and jointly with their son David and daughter in law Annemarie they own a Sun Dream 28 Jeanneau sailing cruiser.
